The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Valle was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Kaká Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético de Crisal's Kaká Ferreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-1 after 23 minutes of play. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Valle having to make a save. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cido Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 33rd minute of the match. José Augusto Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Cido Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Crisal defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Valle. The Atlético de Crisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Valle should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Valle saved Atlético de Crisal from getting behind. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Donato Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Valle saved Atlético de Crisal from getting behind. Tomas Berganza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 79 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Valle. Atlético de Crisal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Miguel Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Miralles couldn't finish the play. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Crisal's Haroldo Capixaba. But to his dismay, Haroldo Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Atlético de Crisal's Haroldo Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Atlético de Crisal getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. José Augusto Figueiredo hit a great ball.
