In the 10th minute, Albertus FC's Arnold Hemmen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Arnold Hemmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After having played for 15 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Gijsbert Bults got a free kick in the 25th minute. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Albertus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Netzach Nieth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albertus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Zhou Kang Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert Bults didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhou Kang Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Warman de Jager scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Hemmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Warman de Jager notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warman de Jager in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Warman de Jager in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Netzach Nieth in the 76th minute. The corner led Albertus FC's Netzach Nieth to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arnold Hemmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warman de Jager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 93 minutes, Arnold Hemmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhou Kang Cheng in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Albertus FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
