The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Dubardo in the 9th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Dubardo in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Jesus Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jesus Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Messi in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Lionel Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Messi in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Jaroszewicz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Llope showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Mancebo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval.

Eloy Dubardo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARRILETE COSMICO. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jesus Llope could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Messi in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jesus Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BARRILETE COSMICO's Jesus Llope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save BARRILETE COSMICO from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Eloy Dubardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, BARRILETE COSMICO's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jesus Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by BARRILETE COSMICO's Lionel Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcin Najman went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
