Ignacio Di Stasi came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Three Lions FC's George Messi. But to his dismay, George Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Ekeroth in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Di Stasi saved Isótopos V.M. from getting behind. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Domingues in the 21st minute of play. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Domingues in the 39th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, George Mbappè hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pedro Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buffon was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Taribo West was slow to take the kick. During this time Isótopos V.M.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Taribo West almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Three Lions FC's George Buffon did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Domingues to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Domingues came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Orvar Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Ekeroth came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ignacio Di Stasi could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taribo West in the 77th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Isótopos V.M.'s Pedro Domingues in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Three Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Taribo West came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Fulgencio Matia replaced Jonatan Maidana. 95 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Three Lions FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Three Lions FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
