After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, German Cano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fluminense di Parma's supporters rose to their feet, but German Cano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Luís Paulo Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. Cristóvão Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cristóvão Ortiz came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 82nd minute of the match. Cristóvão Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Fluminense di Parma's Cristóvão Ortiz got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Fluminense di Parma getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Thiago Teles hit a great ball. Cristóvão Ortiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 97th minute. The Fluminense di Parma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
