The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 23rdth minute of the game Guido Bartolome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Bartolome who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lα Sυв 21's corner Guido Bartolome fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Cirilo Fe didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 24th minute. Lα Sυв 21's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Ernesto Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Primitivo Andino made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Bartolome to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Merexildo. That made the score 2-3 after 51 minutes of play. Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lα Sυв 21's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Agustín Saelices made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo managed to reach the ball for a save. Ernesto Merexildo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. After 95 played minutes, Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lα Sυв 21 reached it. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
