Brazil's Isaac Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 7th minute of play. Marquinhos Santos struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Arnold Szuper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Polyák in the 13th minute of play forced Brazil's goalkeeper Isaac Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnold Szuper having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Santos came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Pál Polyák put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The referee gave Brazil a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marquinhos Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungary's Arnold Szuper. 0-2. Brazil's Isaac Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Brazil from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brazil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kálmán Pádár was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tivadar Demeter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brazil's attentive Saulão Chettle managed to snatch the ball when Zsolt Székely made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Marquinhos Santos scored 0-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnold Szuper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marquinhos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil's protests and gave Marquinhos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 63rd minute of play forced Brazil's goalkeeper Isaac Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Ferreira came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Tivadar Demeter. But to his dismay, Tivadar Demeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Brazil made a substitution. Rafa de Almeida replaced Saulão Chettle. After 72 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Trigo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Brazil's Rodrigo Trigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnold Szuper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Kálmán Pádár got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes of play, Brazil's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnold Szuper was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78thth minute of the game Ferenc Puskás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brazil's Isaac Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Richárd Nyilasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Benjamin da Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnold Szuper saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 88th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arnold Szuper, passed just outside the right post. Brazil's Rodrigo Trigo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jenő Menszátor, made in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Rodrigo Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brazil eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
