With a left leg Gazi Hunalp saved GAZİKENT FK from getting behind. Gazi Hunalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmet Kağan Ünlü could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Hunalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GAZİKENT FK's Battal Gazi Bozdağ got a free kick in the 21st minute. GAZİKENT FK's Gazi Hunalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute, Ahmet Baki Pakkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Octavio Odon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Octavio Odon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gazi Hunalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cemil Oral. Ahmet Kağan Ünlü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Odon in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Ahmet Kağan Ünlü got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

In the 52nd minute, Luca Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 56th minute, Cemil Oral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Odon in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gazi Hunalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gazi Hunalp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gazi Hunalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Hunalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Mahir Ceberut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gazi Hunalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 93 played minutes GAZİKENT FK got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Odon. Cemil Oral scored 4-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
