When Timmy Clementsson in the 8th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Julio Vera kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Bergqvist was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Skånes stolthet! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Korytkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 15th minute of play forced Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Hugo Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hugo Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Lange came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when David Accam sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After having played for 38 minutes, Sigvard Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skånes stolthet!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Lange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Accam, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 62nd minute, one of Skånes stolthet!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skånes stolthet!. Daniel Zorita did an outstanding performance 64 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Hugo Bergqvist in the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hugo Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
