Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurgain Ruiz started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Adriano Carneiro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz. But to his dismay, Laurgain Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAZER SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adriano Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Leão. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Adriano Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adriano Carneiro having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Leão. Aílton Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Adriano Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurgain Ruiz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurgain Ruiz in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurgain Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than MAZER SAF and deserved their victory. The MAZER SAF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
