Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pepe Galnares hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Erik Thorstvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Brent Weeks. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Thorstvedt having to interfere. Erik Thorstvedt came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 30 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Atli Matras. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. Erik Thorstvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vitor Cambero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vitor Cambero made a great header on Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Hervé, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Erik Thorstvedt made a huge save. Michel Hervé took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Valdemar Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's protests and gave Valdemar Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Thorstvedt having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Thorstvedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 80th match minute, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Weeks to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 83rd minute of play forced Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barrikako Herensugeak F.C booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Erik Thorstvedt made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Unax Ondategui. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Erik Thorstvedt in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Thorstvedt made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target.
