Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sandu Racoviceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Kiur Vasmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Kiur Vasmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sandu Racoviceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Rousselle had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Rousselle in the 35th minute of the match. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Sarbelio Ayala scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Charlie Rousselle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DiYaRBeKiR Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Tytarenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Tytarenko in the 53rd minute of the match. Gennadiy Yereschenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarbelio Ayala in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Sarbelio Ayala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After having played for 65 minutes, Sarbelio Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarbelio Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Gennadiy Tytarenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarbelio Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Sandu Racoviceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. The tension between the Ecuador and the DiYaRBeKiR Turkey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Kiur Vasmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DiYaRBeKiR Turkey reached it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DiYaRBeKiR Turkey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Blajovici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
