Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Quinteros in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Erroman having to interfere. La Vieja Guarida FC made a substitution. Wladyslaw Mikulski replaced Zacarias Iigo. After 73 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After 74 played minutes, La Vieja Guarida FC's Raul Quinteros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Vieja Guarida FC reached it. In the 79th minute Raul Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Oliviero to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Lizar in the 93rd minute of the match. Ecuador played a much better game than La Vieja Guarida FC and deserved their victory. The La Vieja Guarida FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
