Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Glauco Breckenfeld capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glauco Breckenfeld really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Glauco Breckenfeld kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano de Toledo in the 38th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Virgílio Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hao Feng Yu in the 43rd minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s Hao Feng Yu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Virgílio Trigo made the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Gaspar in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Virgílio Trigo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Breckenfeld came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™'s Amílton do Valle was substituted for Carlos Augusto Sá. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Federico Valverde notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
