Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Haroldo de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 64 minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Reko-Recko 03™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haroldo de Sena quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haroldo de Sena could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Haroldo de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Haroldo de Sena to make any attempt to save it. Haroldo de Sena made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho scored 0-12 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
