Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of play forced Juventud Unida S L's goalkeeper Edvīns van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvīns van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvīns van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 18th minute Juventud Unida S L were awarded a corner. Cristian Fraco went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Juventud Unida S L's corner Cristian Fraco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvīns van der Sar. Edvīns van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Edvīns van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvīns van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Ulryk Kalemba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 3-2. Cesur Atik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulryk Kalemba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Kalemba in the 51st minute of play. If 唐朋辰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Cesur Atik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 唐朋辰 came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Juventud Unida S L fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 唐朋辰 couldn't finish the play. If Cesur Atik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Ulryk Kalemba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Edvīns van der Sar made a huge save. Juventud Unida S L's Edvīns van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juventud Unida S L's Hayati Güngör got a free kick in the 86th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edvīns van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventud Unida S L's goalkeeper Edvīns van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Damian Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Juventud Unida S L fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Chorche couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Damian Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Damian Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
