Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. 卓洲亦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Mexico's 卓洲亦 threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 93rd minute of play forced 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's goalkeeper 卓洲亦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with 卓洲亦 in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
