After 10 played minutes Super Penalitop got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Tishinov. 11 minutes into the match, Super Penalitop's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Carlos Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Super Penalitop's Naim Cheche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Super Penalitop's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Carlos Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Colombia's Santino Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Claris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 25 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Claris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Super Penalitop's Stanislav Tishinov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 28th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 30th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naim Cheche in the 32nd minute of play. Super Penalitop's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamid Nony in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naim Cheche succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 37th playminute. After some careless play in the Super Penalitop defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Claris. The Super Penalitop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Claris should have stopped the shot. When Ladislao Berart came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Super Penalitop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Berart couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naim Cheche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Super Penalitop's Facundo Robak was substituted for Mauricio Jaizki. In the 80th minute, Jacob Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Super Penalitop fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Carlos Claris threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Super Penalitop's Jacob Dantas. But to his dismay, Jacob Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Robak in the 87th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Dantas in the 88th minute of play. If Facundo Robak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Colombia booed when Super Penalitop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Super Penalitop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Berart to maneuver through the defense. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Super Penalitop's goalie prevented a goal.
