Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Lenzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Lenzi in the 4th minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betinho Lenzi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betinho Lenzi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 12th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Dennis Maranzano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. In the 20th minute, Betinho Lenzi made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Betinho Lenzi had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 39 in the game by Betinho Lenzi from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. If Betinho Lenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Betinho Lenzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Emre Çeliksu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Betinho Lenzi scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. If Betinho Lenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Betinho Lenzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Betinho Lenzi took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 65th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Emre Çeliksu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Betinho Lenzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Lenzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Betinho Lenzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. FALCÕES VERDES's Teodosio Leobardo was substituted for Dennis Maranzano. The FALCÕES VERDES fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute of the game Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in which Lautaro Puig played forward. Betinho Lenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Lenzi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Betinho Lenzi took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Lenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betinho Lenzi was slow to take the kick. During this time FALCÕES VERDES's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FALCÕES VERDES's Vivaldo Ferreira to a score. 11-0 in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Betinho Lenzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FALCÕES VERDES had played much better football throughout.
