Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge. Krisztián Sydbøge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tamás Bencsik's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tamás Bencsik helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Nimród Vére got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Bencsik. After a defensive mix-up in Nimród Vére's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krisztián Sydbøge came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Tamás Bencsik hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 24th minute of play forced Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márk Kovács might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márk Kovács ran back to his position shaking his head. Nimród Vére's Tamás Bencsik got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Tamás Bencsik off the ground. In the 28th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Bencsik to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krisztián Sydbøge having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's Márk Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ede Edelényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tivadar Sörös was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Sörös, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krisztián Sydbøge came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Nimród Vére booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nimród Vére getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bendegúz Ördög hit a great ball. If Aaron Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nimród Vére booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bendegúz Ördög to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vendel Bíró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Sörös in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Ede Edelényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ede Edelényi during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Costa Rica were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nimród Vére's much stronger midfield.
