Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haitz Langarica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haitz Langarica having to interfere. If Rafe Vallina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haitz Langarica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Renato Nunez-Tesheira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mexico booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haitz Langarica was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Haitz Langarica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Haitz Langarica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haitz Langarica. Atletico Aragua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. Renato Nunez-Tesheira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 44th minute Arnold Collins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Fano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Fano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Fano.

Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Aragua FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Haitz Langarica in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Cazalla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Cazalla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Atletico Aragua FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bizi Faubelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 2-4. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Haitz Langarica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haitz Langarica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafe Vallina in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Acebal in the 84th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Haitz Langarica however easily saved by the left post. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Rafe Vallina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
