Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eleuterio Matteo started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Eleuterio Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Eleuterio Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Balendin. Carlos Balendin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mckinley Vadnais during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Seclantas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mckinley Vadnais. Eleuterio Matteo in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Seclantas AFC's Carlos Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Balendin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mckinley Vadnais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Carlos Balendin was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-3. Carlos Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Balendin. Carlos Balendin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Carlos Balendin came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Seclantas AFC's Carlos Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes Seclantas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Oliverio. Daniel Zorita, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Balendin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlos Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Seclantas AFC's Carlos Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Carlos Balendin to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Matteo in the 85th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, Seclantas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
