Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 10th minute, Agustin Barrantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 16 minutes of play, CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Volio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Millot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Lobo in the 24th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 35 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Barrantes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Mainor Coronado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS La Libertad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mainor Coronado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Esquivel. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Agustin Barrantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS La Libertad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Barrantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Monge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Agustin Barrantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 61 minutes into the match, Agustin Barrantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Barrantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Miguel Volio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS La Libertad's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Volio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67thth minute of the game Agustin Barrantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Monge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Mainor Coronado didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 75th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 82nd minute of play. When CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the CS La Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainor Coronado struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS La Libertad. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mainor Coronado in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Volio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mainor Coronado was slow to take the kick. During this time CS La Libertad's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! The referee gave CS La Libertad a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agustin Barrantes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 7-0. CS La Libertad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
