Laurgain Ruiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Laurgain Ruiz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurgain Ruiz in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurgain Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Laurgain Ruiz made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas managed to work through MAZER SAF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomas Illescas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Magno Maranhense with Evaristo Castro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Evaristo Castro succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. When MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Castro in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 81st minute of the match MAZER SAF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beraldo Soberano ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAZER SAF's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Thiago Motta got a free kick in the 87th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. MAZER SAF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
