In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Kozák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Los simuladores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Prelipceanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Máté Kozák in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Ermegildo Xabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute Arnulfo Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los simuladores FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ermegildo Xabier took the corner. Los simuladores FC's Máté Kozák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Los simuladores FC from getting a goal against them. Astor Pacorro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Los simuladores FC's Máté Kozák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Los simuladores FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced Los simuladores FC's goalkeeper Máté Kozák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
