After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 张旭傲 quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by the sword of Damocles's Rıza Çalımbay. 巩天帆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, the sword of Damocles's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but 张旭傲 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 61 minutes on the clock, Antonio Arias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
