AQUILES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Giannis Michaloliakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Frankfurter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AQUILES's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 minutes, Alonso Berganza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the AQUILES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Giannis Michaloliakos made the kick off in the second half. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Frankfurter. Frank Frankfurter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Frank Frankfurter in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Michaloliakos in the 63rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Angelo Santo hit a great ball. AQUILES's Prospero Fix was substituted for Giannis Michaloliakos. Angelo Santo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 80 played minutes AQUILES got a freekick which was hit by German Cordarius. Prospero Fix took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Fix came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AQUILES from getting a goal against them.
