Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cauã Carneiro got the match started through his kick off. Aírton Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauã Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Aírton Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Magnistar's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Aírton Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Magnistar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Soares to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnistar's Aírton Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of play forced Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aírton Penha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aírton Penha came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 64th minute Nelson Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Penha having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Aírton Penha however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Aírton Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cauã Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magnistar's protests and gave Cauã Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. Aírton Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Magnistar's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Penha came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Magnistar got a freekick which was hit by Joel Lundqvist. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
