Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Porfiro Revilla kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play forced Pulpo1971 FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Valentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Valentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Porfiro Revilla kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Pulpo1971 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Teofilo Valentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teofilo Valentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pulpo1971 FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Valentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Valentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 27th minute of play. Teofilo Valentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Valentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pulpo1971 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Valentin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 56 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Valentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Aaron Lizana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Valentin having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lizana came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Valentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teofilo Valentin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Pulpo1971 FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Valentin came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pulpo1971 FC's Mane Alcubilla was substituted for Lehen Guardamino. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Lizana in the 84th minute of play. Teofilo Valentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Porfiro Revilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Valentin having to make a save. A collision led to Pulpo1971 FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Grabiel Arcelay hit a great ball. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
