Fábio Montoia's shot from long distance in the 23rd minute was not bad at all, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Gonzalo Jurdan could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. Gonzalo Jurdan took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gonzalo Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Jurdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
