Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Santos Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Fagildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Stanislao in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Stanislao got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Perfumo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Lon to maneuver through the defense. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Saul Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beyhan Oğuzer to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
