Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Aguilera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 5th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 7th minute of the match. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Aguilera having to make a save. 14 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Higinio Aguilera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Luca Rouco fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Luca Rouco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jyrki Sillanpää. After 46 minutes, Indiana Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos de Doña Beija and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico made a substitution. Jonathan Atenas replaced Felix Luque. After 47 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Indiana Jones. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jyrki Sillanpää was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Sillanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Higinio Aguilera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Rocha in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demy Ottens in the 70th minute. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Aguilera having to make a save. Luís Fábio Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Ciro Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos de Doña Beija and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Ciro Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the game, Feliciano Haritzeder landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 95 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hijos de Doña Beija had won after a very even match.
