Čhecos Jrs.'s Slávek Fajt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Haaland in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play forced A.A. Čhecos Jrs.'s goalkeeper Slávek Fajt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Řepka's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Řepka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Kevin Řepka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Milo Nesa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Slávek Fajt in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petr Franc kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slávek Fajt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.A. Čhecos Jrs..
