Joel Gaona made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo however managed to control. 68 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider. Nana Lider was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 90th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nana Lider was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Farias to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
