With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Valer Văidianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harm van Zomeren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Văidianu in the 9th minute. After 13 played minutes De tulpen SC got a freekick which was hit by Valer Văidianu. With an all-out effort, De tulpen SC's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timoteo Manilan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Manilan in the 16th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Valer Văidianu sent off a good shot on target. Harm van Zomeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Văidianu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. De tulpen SC's Yu Ang Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valer Văidianu was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Văidianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Harm van Zomeren came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, De tulpen SC's Yu Ang Chuan got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Frits Daverveld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Frits Daverveld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yu Ang Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of the match. Yu Ang Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 67th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by De tulpen SC's Timoteo Manilan. But to his dismay, Timoteo Manilan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 75 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frits Daverveld who took care of the corner kick. Frits Daverveld made a great header on De tulpen SC's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. Maikel Douwes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 93 minutes, Abraham Alguacil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the De tulpen SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
