The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Whitley. German Whitley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Marlin Cano sent off a good shot on target. German Whitley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play. German Whitley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Recolta Alamor's German Whitley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a Recolta Alamor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Recolta Alamor's Vernon Kirkland tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Whitley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. After 63 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Whitley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Recolta Alamor's German Whitley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Miguel Miralles took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for German Whitley to make any attempt to save it. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Whitley was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Tuan Mason got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Kirkland came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Whitley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Whitley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Vilter in the 89th minute of play. When Marlin Cano fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recolta Alamor's protests and gave Marlin Cano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlin Cano didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Whitley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 95th minute of play. Panama played a much better game than Recolta Alamor and deserved their victory. The Recolta Alamor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
