Jacobo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Trocha Media FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Hustaz got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olgierd Zacharczyk struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trocha Media FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Silvestre Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trocha Media FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Pascual Estevon hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Rufio in the 54th minute of play. Eliseo Rufio took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Trocha Media FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Estevon kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Laureano Olando hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Rufio in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Trocha Media FC were awarded a corner. Siro Orti went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Trocha Media FC's corner Siro Orti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Trocha Media FC could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
