The referee showed Esteban Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. After recieving a nice pass, Drako Futbol Club's Ramon Marz tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ramon Marz sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Banegas's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Banegas helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Drako Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Banegas. 35 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Marz came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Opilano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Drako Futbol Club's Maxim Van Schoorisse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute of play. Maxim Van Schoorisse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Rigoberto Vermudo made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game.
