After 5 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Dalland in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Iker Arano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Arano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guido Manuelo in the 13 minute of the game. The supporters of Justerine & Brooks A C booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Furtado Abuleta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Guido Manuelo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 28 minutes into the match, Justerine & Brooks A C's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Robustiano Romildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furtado Abuleta in the 33rd minute of the match. Furtado Abuleta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Furtado Abuleta scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guido Manuelo made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 56 minutes into the game, Guido Manuelo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Robustiano Romildo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Arturo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Iker Arano struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Justerine & Brooks A C. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Romildo having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
