With an all-out effort, Dr Lecter SC's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corneliu Dridu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Corneliu Dridu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corneliu Dridu ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Wanderson Fernandez replaced Omid Kaulbach. 92 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Kauã Martins replaced Válbson Batista. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ma Wei Jun, made in the 95th minute of the game. Dr Lecter SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
