In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Trevisan saved Dr Lecter SC from getting behind. Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr Lecter SC's goalie prevented a goal. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alonso Berganza advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 24th minute. Válbson Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ma Wei Jun hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dr Lecter SC's Omid Kaulbach. But to his dismay, Omid Kaulbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Omid Kaulbach hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Dridu was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan. Celso Trevisan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dr Lecter SC's Domingos Da Guía quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Gayoso, made in the 64th minute of the game. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Laércio Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Romero took the corner. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Guedes in the 73rd minute of play. Dieguinho de Medeiros made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 78 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Mina. Emmanuel Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Celso Trevisan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dr Lecter SC throughout the match.
