Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lenílson Velasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lenílson Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Lenílson Velasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 13 minutes, Olavo Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Linhares got free with Bruno Barrett in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lenílson Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. If Olavo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Chaves having to interfere. In the 29th minute Stanley Wallace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match Lenílson Velasco climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Bruno Barrett. Telmo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 44th minute of play. Lenílson Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The audience was convinced that Lenílson Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Telmo Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Curacao booed when Pinheiros Capibaras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Telmo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olavo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Valdomiro Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinheiros Capibaras FC and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Marshall Graham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jordan Porter's late challenge caught a Pinheiros Capibaras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
