Capo de Provincia were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Geležinis Vilkas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César Pretot took the corner. Juan Riquelme made a great header on Capo de Provincia's corner, it was just that Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis managed to reach the ball for a save. Héctor Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deimantas Satkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Deimantas Satkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deimantas Satkus came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Héctor Barra could save by the left post. Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deimantas Satkus in the 23rd minute of play. Deimantas Satkus struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Héctor Barra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Villa in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capo de Provincia's César Pretot got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when David Villa made the kick off in the second half. Juan Riquelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Qiao Qi hit a great ball. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Deimantas Satkus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Héctor Barra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Qiao Qi hit a great ball. Capo de Provincia's Epifanío Mejia was substituted for Juan Riquelme. Capo de Provincia's Christiano Cabañas was substituted for David Villa. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Capo de Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiao Qi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Deimantas Satkus came free, but Héctor Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Moreno Torricelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Deimantas Satkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidijus Merkelis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 92nd minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiao Qi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Christiano Cabañas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew the final whistle, Geležinis Vilkas could leave the field as winners, despite Capo de Provincia having more of the ball for most of the match.
