Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gustaw Pysz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gustaw Pysz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Pysz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59thth minute of the game Raymundo Carilao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Raymundo Carilao in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Raymundo Carilao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ornitorrincos F.C. had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
