Jem Jajecznica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Milian in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jem Jajecznica in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcelo Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Sörman made a kick off. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Gagriel firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Milian in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Marcelo Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
