Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diogo Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jacobo Nores had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Diogo Sá from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 4th minute of the match Fenix Futebol Clube got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Martins ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fenix Futebol Clube's Joel Martins was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Reynaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joel Martins fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenix Futebol Clube's protests and gave Joel Martins a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Joel Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Raul Venegas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Martins in the 24th minute of play. Diogo Sá took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 30th minute, Joel Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paraguay's Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move. A collision led to Fenix Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Reynaldo Jacinto hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Jacinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Reynaldo Jacinto sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Jacinto in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Fenix Futebol Clube booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Sá in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Reynaldo Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenix Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Sá in the 59th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Reynaldo Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Fenix Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Jacinto couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas. Reynaldo Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas. 80 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Jacinto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Jacinto scored 5-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 played minutes Fenix Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Sá. In the 93rd minute, Diogo Sá fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fenix Futebol Clube could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
