The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilo Futbol Club's Fabio Hernando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. In the 12th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabio Hernando fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as 唐远升 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Delmiro Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilo Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Ospin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 唐远升 in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Vilo Futbol Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dustin Zentner hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Vilo Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Vilo Futbol Club's 唐远升 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Fabio Hernando sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Hernando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Fabio Hernando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Hernando slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 37th minute. If Alvaro Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Fabio Hernando sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Vilo Futbol Club's Uriel Clodio was substituted for Delmiro Ospin. Eustaquio Cordareo made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Uriel Clodio immediately put the ball in play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 8-0 when 唐远升 sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Hernando in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The supporters of Vilo Futbol Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 唐远升 in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Clodio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Cordareo made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fabio Hernando however managed to control. When Benjamin Olentzaro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vilo Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Olentzaro couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Vilo Futbol Club's Eustaquio Cordareo in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! There was no doubt that Vilo Futbol Club were the better team. Vilo Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
