But to his dismay, Lonnie Crow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Jesus in the 18th minute. Ariel Jesus came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Felip Nafría made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pau Crespo however managed to control. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

LosPibardos F.C made a substitution. Carles Clos replaced Inge Vazquez. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emesto Quintana in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, LosPibardos F.C's Lonnie Crow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Efrain Nahia made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pau Crespo however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galeno Chico in the 94th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
