Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengizhan Şahistan having to make a save. 6 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cengizhan Şahistan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, 1. FC Krotoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cengizhan Şahistan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cengizhan Şahistan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Cengizhan Şahistan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cengizhan Şahistan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cengizhan Şahistan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wawrzyniec Kisielka's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Cengizhan Şahistan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, 1. FC Krotoszyn's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karol Zdeb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Cengizhan Şahistan. 1. FC Krotoszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karol Zdeb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cengizhan Şahistan in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengizhan Şahistan having to interfere. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cengizhan Şahistan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Karol Zdeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengizhan Şahistan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Cengizhan Şahistan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cengizhan Şahistan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cengizhan Şahistan could save by the left post. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Cengizhan Şahistan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Zorita got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1. FC Krotoszyn.
