Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. Dorin Orghidan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Iustinian Burdujan made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kaká de Queirós's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Dorin Zăreanu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dorin Orghidan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Orghidan saved Balaceanu UFC from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Balaceanu UFC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Arnalt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Burdujan in the 26th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lv Rong hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Balaceanu UFC's Eusebio Arnalt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Roch Bury might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roch Bury ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Burdujan in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Iustinian Burdujan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Eusebio Arnalt made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Eusebio Arnalt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Zăreanu in the 63rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Burdujan in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Burdujan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Arnalt in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Arnalt in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Arnalt in the 92nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Bury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balaceanu UFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
